Deputy Manager

Residential Home For Children With Learning Disabilities

Wellingborough

Salary 35,000 - 38,000

I am currently working with a provider of children's residential care to recruit a Deputy Manager for their new children's home home based in Wellingborough, caring for Children with learning disabilities.

In this role you will;

  • Work with the Registered Manager to support the home through procedures, policies and activities engaged in to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for the child or young person they are responsible for.
  • Support the staff team to ensure positive outcomes for the children they support
  • Work with the Manager to continuously develop the home to achieve and maintain Outstanding with OFSTED

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Supervisory experienced within a residential home for children and young people with learning disabilities.
  • Hold a NVQ level 3 in children and young people
  • Be passionate about delivering outstanding care
  • Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures and best practice in caring for looked after children
