Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Wellingborough - commutable from Northampton, Bedford, Corby, Rugby, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas

£35,000 - £45,000 + Site-based, Monday to Friday + Great Training Opportunities + Support to Further Qualifications + Career Progression + 39 Hour Week

Do you have experience in a Manufacturing role, and are looking to advance your career in a dynamic environment with a strong safety and quality culture?

On offer is the chance to take on an autonomous role within a friendly and close-knit team where you will have fantastic training opportunities, including support to gain industry qualifications.

This leading manufacturer is renowned within the industry, with a large client base across the UK. Due to goals of increasing sustainability and maintaining ISO creditations, the company is looking to add a highly motivated QHSE Manager to the team.

In this role you will be part of a tight-knit team, taking a high level of responsibility for H&S, quality, and environmental standards across the site. You will be supported in gaining further industry qualifations as you become an expert within the field.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in an Quaity Engineer/ Manufacturing role within a manufacturing/production environment. Qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, and Six Sigma are all desirable but not essential and training will be provided.

The Role

  • Work closely alongside a company Director to continuously improve health and safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and near-miss reports when necessary
  • Enhance the health and safety culture of the team
  • Support to further relevant qualifications
  • Site-based with a 39-hour week


The Person

  • Quality Engineer/ Manufacturing Engineer/ Production Engineer/ Compliance Engineer/ QHSE Engineer or similar backgrounds all considered
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience within a manufacturing/production environment
  • Industry qualifications are desirable but not essential, and excellent training will be provided
