Location: Irthlingborough
Salary: Up to 15 per hour

Are you someone with a keen interest in engineering and looking to develop your skills for a successful career? We are seeking a CNC Setter/Operator of any and all levels of experience to join our client in Irthlingborough.

About the Role:

In this hands-on position, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, working to high standards to ensure the efficient production of quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate a range of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machine tools to the required standards.
  • Load and unload CNC machines safely, using manual or mechanical hoists where necessary.
  • Work from and interpret engineering drawings, using inspection and measuring equipment to company standards.
  • Allocate and store components to various areas within the factory (e.g., storage).
  • Carry out routine maintenance as required or on a daily basis.
  • Ensure machines and work areas are cleaned and tidied on a routine basis.
  • Set and operate a range of manual machines as and when required by the company or workload.
  • Complete any documentation relevant to the department on a routine basis.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety Regulations within the company.
