Impressive & increasingly diversely equipped Print, Packaging & Labelling Solutions business, seek an experienced Cut & CreaseMinder/Supervisor as they continue to invest & expand their Litho / UV Carton Printing Services operation.
Based from their Northants HQ, it represents a fabulous opportunity to become an integral part of motivated & skilled converting team, leveraging their recent significant investments in Litho Carton manufacturing capability and achievements in BRC AA grade certification.
As an experienced Cut & CreaseMinder, this is an on machine role,managing & supervisingthe construction of lithographic printed packaging in a variety of formats and on a range of materials, operating an array of cut & creasemachines alongside a highly invested lithographic printing division, including a Brausse Lavanta, Brausse Bora and Elite 1060
This is a great opportunity to join a very skilled converting team who have achieved BRCGS grade certification. The Businesswill provide full training on these models, though carton packaging cut & creaseexperience is essential.
Reporting to the Finishing Mnager, the Cut & CreaseSupervisor role willoperatein a fast-paced work environment with high standards,promoting and nurturing excellent teamwork and support.
Responsibilities
- Operate theirCut and Crease machines as required to construct high quality cartons, sleeves as well as a variety of other packaging types.
- Organise systems to ensure all jobs for Cut and Crease shift are ready.
- Manage the quality of packaging.
- Assist in the planning of trials for new packaging projects
- Ensure daily schedules are met.
- Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain theirexcellent BRCGS grade.
- Daily maintenance and care of Cut and Crease machinery.
Skills & Requirements
- An excellent team-working ethic.
- Diligent and attentive to detail.
- Supervisory experience a must.
- Carton packaging Cut and Crease experience is essential.
- A pro-active, problem solving approach.
- Experience operating Brausse Cut and Crease Machinery is an advantage..
Operating a Monday to Friday double day shift (6:00am-14.30pm and 13:30pm-22.00pm), it offers an excellent salary and plenty of overtime ina fast-paced work environment with high standards, that promotesexcellent teamwork and highly supportive employee culture.
