The role
We are seeking an experience Contracts Manager to oversee all works within our Commercial Department when acting as subcontractor. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
This role is based in Wellingborough, with regular site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage commercial contracts, ensuring smooth project delivery
- Conduct necessary site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
- Address and resolve any operational challenges that may arise
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction or glazing industry
- Strong understanding of subcontractor management, health and safety requirements, programming skills and all aspects working as a sub contractor on commercial projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving license (for site visits)
