Our client, a rapidly growing precision engineering company in the Automotive sector, is seeking an Electrical and Wiring Build Technician.
The position is permanent and offers a salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Candidates should possess a good understanding of fabrication, machining, and be able to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Experience in diagnostic and fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems is essential, ideally with previous work with tier 1 suppliers.

Assist in the authoring of assembly procedures and promote best practices.
Fully comply with health and safety protocol and regulations as outlined in the Health & Safety Policy in both standard High Voltage areas.
Building prototype assemblies prior to full release, from cell level, up to whole pack level.
Completing build records and all other relevant documentation during the build process.
Taking ownership of the product and assemblies whilst working both on and offsite.

Electrical and Wiring Build Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Good understanding of fabrication and machining
Able to understand engineering drawings including schematics
Experience diagnostic and fault finding on mechanical and electrical
Ideally previous experience of working with tier 1 suppliers
Fault finding and testing of high voltage batteries
