Astraseal is one of the largest and most prominent manufacturers and suppliers of UPVC and Aluminium glazing products and solutions in the UK.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with an excellent eye for detail and impeccable communication skills to join our team in Wellingborough as a Quality Controller of windows and doors.

This is a fast-paced role, and the right candidate must perform detailed visual inspections as well as testing parts to ensure top industry standards are achieved and that our products meet the highest of quality before leaving the factory.

What you'll be doing:

  • Inspecting all windows and doors after production
  • Documenting any issues, ensuring timely resolution and help prevent reoccurrence
  • Work with the team to identify defects and implement corrective actions
  • Meeting production targets
  • Ensure products achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators

You will need:

  • Previous experience within the window and door manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience working in a Quality Leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment is essential ideally with at least 3 years of experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • To be pro-active, have a can-do attitude and be reliable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • The ability to lift and handle windows and doors
Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Friday
