URGENTLY NEEDED 7.5T Driver, client based in Park Farm Wellingborough, Monday to Friday working with some overtime on a Saturday, Temp to Perm position for the right candidate, IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED
Due to retirement, an opportunity has become available for an experienced driver to join my client who is a manufacturing company based in Wellingborough. The role will be driving both 3.5T and 7.5T vehicles making deliveries to customers in England and Wales. Many of these deliveries will be in and around London & York so a good knowledge of London. York and their surrounding areas will be advantageous.
A typical day will be starting between 3am and 6am as the first deliveries will need to be made at 8am. You will be making 2 - 3 drops on nationwide routes and 5 - 6 drops for local deliveries. You may be required to do collections on your return journeys. Some handball may also be required.
To be considered for this role, applicants will have the following
- Be an experienced and confident 3.5t & 7.5t driver
- Have excellent knowledge of the UK Road networks especially the London area.
- Be happy to do hand-balling
- Have an excellent customer service rapport as this is a customer facing role
- Be over 25 years old due to insurance purposes
Licence Requirements are the following
- Valid UK Licence with Category C1
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No IN10 DD10 or DR10 convictions
- Maximum of 6 points
- UK Licence held for a minimum of 12 months
