Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and helping children achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner/Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Wellingborough.



About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, stimulating, and safe environment where children can thrive. You will work closely with the Early Years team to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing updates with parents/carers.
  • Promote inclusive practice, catering to the needs of children with SEND or additional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure a smooth transition for children moving into Key Stage 1.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, following school policies and safeguarding procedures.


What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally in a school environment.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
