Role: Workshop Assistant
Location: Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, NN9
Hours of work: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Basic Salary: 25,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking and dynamic manufacturing company that specialise in safety equipment. They're a well-recognised business within their industry, for providing all-round quality safety equipment solutions.
As a Workshop Assistant, you'll be responsible for;
- Picking and packing items for delivery
- Updating and mantaining information on internal database
- Quality checking items that have been returned
- Ensuring warehouse and workshop areas are organised
- Providing workshop team with required tools and materials
- Assisting with stock takes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience within a workshop or stores environment
- To be mechanically minded to be able to support a team of workshop technicians
- Team player and able to work with all levels of business
- Good MS Office and IT skills
- Excellent people skills and customer focused
