Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to 40k per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0730 - 1600

About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for undertaking continuous routine maintenance on plant and machinery to ensure the smooth running of the site. Work alongside other team members to improve efficiency and safety standards as well as organise repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the plant and equipment.
- Carry out building maintenance repairs when needed.
- Working with the Plant Manager, work to a routine maintenance schedule for all equipment in the Plant including air tools and handheld power tools.
- Fault finding on all equipment including electrical control panels and hydraulic systems.
- Work on Projects to help improve the safety and efficiency of the plant.
- Ensure electrical and mechanical safety procedures are followed in line with regulations
- Making quick decisions while complying with health and safety regulations
- Ensure health and safety compliance of all maintenance operations
- Maintain the maintenance area in a clean and orderly manner
About You:
- Experience in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with 18th Edition.
- Operate scissor or boom lifts.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience/knowledge of overhead gantry cranes and welding operations would also be advantageous although not essential.
- A good team player.
