- Carry out and record the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) necessary to maintain and enhance competence in your own area of practice and to mentor/develop members of your team.
- Lead the mechanical design and development of Battery for EV
- Approve Statements of Work, Interface Agreements and Collaboration Management Plans for outsourced packages of work
- Check and approve design evidence (design calculations, reference data with source, correspondence, test reports, etc) and ensure that it is recorded for use in design reviews.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and design authority on a major engineering system(s) or engineering development process/technique.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the use of a high-level CAD package (Catia / NX).
- Experience in the application of the Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) process.
- Expert in the application/selection of relevant engineering analytical techniques, manufacturing processes, materials specifications & standard parts and is able to guide others.
