ROLE: Service Engineer
LOCATION: Wellingborough
HOURS OF WORK: Days
BASIC SALARY: 32K basic circa 40K with overtime
BENEFITS: 23 days holiday, 9.5% employer pension contribution, company car with private use, paid door to door for services.
Company Profile
Our client is seeking a highly motivated skilled/semi- skilled service engineer with a mechanical or Electrical bias to join their friendly and family run organisation based in Wellingborough on a permanent basis. The role will be predominantly based on site at their Wellingborough facility but occasional travel around the UK and Northern Ireland to undertake service and repairs will be necessary.
In this Service Engineer role, you will be responsible for:
- Routine servicing and breakdowns at various customer sites throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
- Routine servicing and maintenance of their in-house waterjet cutting machines in Wellingborough and telephone support for their contract customers.
- Occasional machine installation will also be required.
- Some overnight stays/travel will be required. (Fully expensed)
To be successful as a Service Engineer you will have:
- Have worked in a similar role for at least 2 years.
- Have a full UK driving license.
- Flexibility to stay over night on rare occasions.
- Experience with Servo Drives, Motors and CNC systems will be desirable.
- Willing to learn new skills
