Our services include technical assistance, product repair, replacement, and refurbishment, ensuring seamless customer experiences and operational excellence.

Role Overview

As a Process Engineer, you will develop and optimise process strategies, manage resources, and ensure the efficiency and quality of operational processes. Your goal will be to deliver cost-efficient services while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to continuous improvement and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Salary: 40,000 - 48,000

Location: Wellingborough

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Process Development

  • Define customer requirements and establish robust, efficient, and safe processes, ensuring alignment with delivery schedules.
  • Design and deploy processes capable of meeting customer demands while adhering to business cost assumptions.
  • Develop practices and solutions to improve productivity and product quality.

Process Optimisation

  • Conduct process simulations, risk assessments, and testing to eliminate time and cost inefficiencies.
  • Regularly review workflows to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Apply lean methodologies to reduce bottlenecks and enhance operational productivity.

Documentation and Training

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Train employees on new processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, and competency.

Quality and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct compliance assessments, providing reports and improvement proposals to the operations management team.
  • Actively support 5S practices and challenge behaviours that fall short of expected standards.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with key customers and internal interfaces to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience providing Process Engineering support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical expertise, including data analysis for process optimisation.
  • Familiarity with process simulations, SOP development, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Demonstrable success in continuous improvement (CI) or Kaizen initiatives is desirable.
