Our client is a renowned provider of engineering, repair, and logistics solutions for global brands, and with a brand new site opening in Wellingborough they are now looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager on a permanent basis.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a candidate to establish and maintain high standards of quality in alignment with their reputation for innovation and reliability.
Role Overview:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management on site, ensuring compliance with internal/company's operational standards and ISO 9001/14001 certifications. Collaborating with leadership, this role will implement safe, efficient processes, manage internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will also focus on developing a high-performing Quality team that adapts to our clent's evolving client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee internal, supplier, and customer audits; report findings and drive corrective actions
- Lead and support the Quality team in quality control, risk assessment, team development, and succession planning
- Ensure SOPs remain current, accurate, and compliant with customer and ISO 9001/14001 requirements
- Manage the annual audit schedule, ensuring adherence to customer, legislative, and internal specifications
- Analyse and reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) using Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)
- Serve as the technical lead for New Product Introductions, establishing quality standards from the outset
- Interface directly with customers to understand requirements and develop sustainable quality solutions
- Collaborate with suppliers to continually improve quality across the extended supply chain
- Document PFMEA for all site processes, utilising risk insights to drive performance improvements
The successful candidate will ideally hold a degree and have 5+ years of experience in leading quality-focusedteams, with a strong track record in ISO accreditation, internal audits, and continuous quality improvement methods, such as FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto Analysis.
