Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Our client is seeking a Workshop Engineer to support our workshop and service department, playing a vital role in delivering first-class service to our customers.
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity involves supporting the warehouse and workshop functions to maintain our reputation for excellence. From handling equipment to maintaining databases and ensuring a well-organised workspace, your contribution will enable the continued growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service and test safety equipment.
- Check returned equipment for damages and record serial numbers.
- Perform accurate calibration and functionality testing to ensure equipment meets manufacturer and industry standards.
- Identify faults or issues with equipment and provide efficient, effective solutions.
- Book deliveries onto courier systems.
- Conduct regular audits and assist with stock takes.
- Support any additional duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar engineering role, ideally within the safety equipment or related industry.
- Knowledge of safety equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Valid UK driving license (Category B minimum).
