Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Are you a highly motivated and organised individual looking to join a dynamic team within one of the UK's leading safety equipment suppliers? Our client is seeking a Workshop Engineer to support our workshop and service department, playing a vital role in delivering first-class service to our customers.

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity involves supporting the warehouse and workshop functions to maintain our reputation for excellence. From handling equipment to maintaining databases and ensuring a well-organised workspace, your contribution will enable the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service and test safety equipment.
  • Check returned equipment for damages and record serial numbers.
  • Perform accurate calibration and functionality testing to ensure equipment meets manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Identify faults or issues with equipment and provide efficient, effective solutions.
  • Book deliveries onto courier systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and assist with stock takes.
  • Support any additional duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar engineering role, ideally within the safety equipment or related industry.
  • Knowledge of safety equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Valid UK driving license (Category B minimum).
