CLEANER

Irthlingborough

Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in Irthlingborough, they are currently seeking a Cleaner to undertake full range of cleaning and housing keeping duties.

Relationships:

                a)            Responsible to: Operations Manager / Section Supervisor

                b)            Responsible for: Cleaning                                                               

                c)            Location: New Street and Station Road

Main Tasks of Job:

  1. Undertake the full range of cleaning duties on a day-to-day basis as directed by management.
  2. Adhere to COSHH regulations in relation to the use of chemicals.
  3. Use cleaning equipment, both manual and electric, responsibly and within Health and Safety guidelines.
  4. Deep cleaning welfare areas, including toilets, waste and recycling sections following the correct procedures and techniques.
  5. Proactively make sure that hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
  6. Ensure work area is cleaned and tidied on a routine basis.
  7. Ensuring segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points.
  8. Ensuring documentation is completed in line with the daily/weekly housekeeping cleaning schedule.
  9.  Attending all statutory training requirements and personal development training activities.
  10.  Comply with all Health and Safety Regulations within the company.
