We have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Development Manager to join our current sales team where you will be given the opportunity to support the growth in a dynamic and exciting environment.
Astraseal are one of the leading fabricators in the window and door industry, with a reputation for manufacturing the highest quality windows and doors to match increasing industry demands. Astraseal offers a wide range of products appealing to both the commercial and retail sector and is consistently bringing new products to the market in both PVC and Aluminium.
The role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is willing to challenge the norm and can add innovative and creative thinking whilst taking responsibility for putting actions into place.
Assigned territory:Southwest / Wales, Southeast / London
You will likely be located within easy access to one of the M5, M25, M40 and A14 corridors, or other major routes.
Responsibilities of a BDM will include:
- Generating sales of windows and doors and associated components
- Delivering turnover growth across your area
- Promoting Astraseal product ranges to new and existing accounts
- Providing technical and marketing expertise to customers
- Supporting the customer service department
- Actively contributing to companywide marketing campaigns
- Ensuring accurate and timely management reporting
- Providing technical and market related input to new product development and innovation
- Working closely with team colleagues and cover for their roles as required by the business
- Creating market intelligence reports and forecasts for your area
What we're looking for in our BDM:
- Proven experience of sales development and/or account management within our industry or similar (at least 1 year preferred)
- Able to influence and build confidence in others
- Ideally some knowledge within the building materials sector
- Use of CRM systems
- Able to forge and build strong relationships with customers and existing accounts
- Clear and concise reporting structure
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong attention to detail and personal organisation
- Resilient and calm under pressure
- Strategic and commercial thinking
- Confident with all of Microsoft office software; Outlook, Excel and Word
Hours:Full time Monday to Friday
Requirements:Driving licence is required
