Job Title: Business Development Manager (Chemicals).
Location: Wellingborough (fully remote)
Salary: 45k - 55K per annum (DOE) plus 6/7K bonus annually
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a passion for winning new clients, lead chasing and making a huge impact on revenue for the business. They manufacture sealers, primers, coatings, cleaners and resigns. They are on track for over 5 Million in revenue in 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market research and strategy development - identifying industry trends and differing customer needs.
- Sales and Business Development for the Chemical industry - build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and lead the entire sales process.
- Keep updated on advancements in coatings and construction chemicals.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers, distributors and industry partners to enhance market reach.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and conferences to build the brands visibility.
- Working closely with R&D, production and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Business Development or sales role, specifically within the Chemical Sector.
- Experience working in construction chemicals is a massive bonus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong at building and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic way of thinking with a results driven mindset.
- Solid sales process.
