A primary school based in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide PPA cover as well as targerted intervention groups across the school. This is a full-time role to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support individual pupils or small groups to achieve their learning goals.
* Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
* Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support their progress and development.
* Work collaboratively with teachers to assess and monitor pupil progress.
* Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Support the development and implementation of EHCPs for pupils with special educational needs.
* Act as a role model and promote the school's values and ethos.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual with a genuine passion for working with children. The ideal HLTA will have the skills, curriculum knowledge, and experience to make a meaningful difference in the classroom.
Essential Criteria:
* HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working in a UK primary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
