- Complete onsite visits – visiting customer sites using the equipped onsite vehicle as required by the business.
- Carrying out inspections, service, repairs, and testing of safety equipment in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer guidelines;
- Strong customer relationship skills – ability to think on feet and ask for advise when required from internal sources.
- Inputting hire and service information onto the Syrinx database system;
- Updating/maintaining existing information on the Syrinx database system;
- Provide technical support to end users via the phone or whilst onsite;
- To maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and maintain a safe working environment;
- Responsible for keeping the onsite vehicle in good working order, reporting any issues to be resolved, ensure vehicle is always clean and maintained;
- Supporting rest of the team when not onsite;
- Any other tasks as required.
- Previous experience in a workshop environment is desirable but not essential;
- Current and valid driving license (category B as a minimum);
- Good MS Office suite and databases skills.Â
- Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, including the ability to multi- task in a controlled manner and able to find material/information in a timely fashion;
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business;
- Excellent people skills and customer focused;
- Training will be provided where required on systems
- Manufacturer training will be given after a completion of a probationary period
- Experience driving LWB vehicles an advantage but training will be provided
