Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A primary school in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join their team on a part-time basis.
Position Details:
- Role: Part-Time SENCO
- Location: Wellingborough
- Schedule: 3 days a week (specific days to be confirmed)
- Sites: Working across both an Infant and Junior site
- Contract: Fixed term for one year
- Start Date: September 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the provision for students with special educational needs across the school
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students' educational and personal development
- Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed
Requirements:
- Experience as a SENCO is essential
- SENCO qualifications are desirable but not necessary
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs
