Our client is seeking an experienced transport planner to join their busy transport team.
The role requires good knowledge of planning and involves creating efficient and effective routes for the following day/week.
Candidates should have experience working in a transport operation and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate must be flexible, calm under pressure, and dedicated to providing excellent service.
The position offers a salary of up to £30,000 and requires relevant experience in the field.

Our client are looking for an experienced transport planner to join their busy transport team, you will unsure efficient & effective plans are created daily ensuring all jobs are planned and allocated for the following days plan. Good knowledge of planning is a must

As a transport planner your duties will include;

Complete efficient and effective routes for the following day/week
knowledge of road networks as vehicles can be out all week
Managing customer/network orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements
Help build runs for the general drivers
Print and collate all driver’s paperwork
Pre-assign required collections

The ideal candidate with have the following;

Experience working in a transport operation
Ability to be flexible
Strong communicator and customer service skills
Calm under pressure and good at problem solving
A positive attitude to work
Committed and dedicated to the role and providing the best possible service for the customer
