Role: Mobile field service Engineer - Wellingborough
A leading plant hire Company have key requirements for a Field service engineer based Near Wellingborough to cover the surrounding areas (Midlands). The Company is well established within the UK and has 7 depots and wants to grow further. With a work hard play hard attitude. The ideal candidate will be looking to progress further within their career and grow within the company.
The Successful field Service engineer will be
* As a field Service engineer, you'll conduct maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of generators to ensure performance and reliability up to 1250 kva
* Field service engineers will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimise downtime, or escalate to the Technical Team for additional support if things are a little tricker.
* The successful field service engineer will travel customer sites and carry out planned, and reactive work, in Cardiff covering the surrounding areas.
* As a field Service engineer you will work independently, plan your time to prioritise your workload, and ensure that you have the correct equipment for each job.
To be successful in the field service engineer application you will need:
* Mechanical engineering experience in power engineering or a similar industry working on high Kva generators
* Field service engineers will be expected to have the basic required tools
* Field service engineers will be travelling to client locations, a driving license is a necessity
* You will need a good work ethic, a want to progress within the company and an ability to ensure work is to the highest standard is needed.
Role benefits
* Basic salary of 33,000 - 36,000 depending on Experience
* Monday to Friday, no weekends
* 40 hours per week, with overtime and on-call available, company van provided.
* O/T outside of working hours in time and a half. Then double time all day Sunday and after 10pm every day.
