WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES - PART-TIME

WORKING 2 - 3 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8.30AM - 17.00PM

Pay Rate: £12.00 PER HOUR 

People Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for our prestigious client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

You will be working as a Warehouse Operatives, completing a range of daily tasks required to ensure the smooth flow of the products through the Warehouse to fulfil both internal and external customer requirements.

You will be working within a fast paced environment and may be required to work in various areas of the Warehouse to make sure that the stock is stored in the right place and the right amount of stock is ready for collection when it is needed.

Day to Day Duties 

  •  Pick, check, store and pack goods either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy.
  •  Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures
  •  Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties.
  •  Accurate input of data into Company computer systems and manual records
  •  Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
  •  Achieve the targets (KPIs) and job standards.
  •  Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
  •  Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately.
  •  Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary.
  •  Put suggestions for improvements forward where appropriate.
  •  Assist other team members as necessary.
  •  Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks.
  •  To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business and undertake any other reasonable duties as allocated

Essential Skills

  • Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write basic English
  • Able to follow instructions 
  • Able to work under pressure to targets and deadlines
  • Numerical and focused on accuracy 
  • Basic computer literacy and experience data inputting 
  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, including manual handling 
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team

 Desirable Experience 

  • Previous experience of working within a Warehouse environment 
  • Able to use initiative and identify issues at work and suggest options for improvement 
  • FLT Counter Balance & Reach Truck Licence
