A growing close knit and small accountancy practice based in Wellington is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team preparing and reviewing year end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax along with overseeing VAT, Bookkeeping and wider all around role, as key right hand support to the firms directors. You will have increasing client management responsibility, develop teams and career progression on offer.

Client Details

An opportunity to join a growing, small team based in Wellington with very hands on Directors working with very mixed and wide-ranging industry sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Clients vary in industry sector and turnover range from very small sole traders through to ltd companies well into the £millions in turnover. They provide the whole range of 'general practice' services across year end accounts, tax - both corporate and personal, VAT, management accounts/bookkeeping and payroll service provision.IRIS for accounts production and whilst they encourage the use of SAGE - both desktop and cloud, their clients also use the whole suite of online software across Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent and others.

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firms Wellington offices you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance and oversee wider services, acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will have increasing client management responsibility and progress in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing firm of accountants.

Profile

You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA etc, or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.

Job Offer
