Manpower UK are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client who are within the waste management/environmental sectors for a permanent Class 2 driver who has experience in manual work ideally within drainage. You would be joining a highly successful company who can offer excellent training and career progression.
Job details:
- Operation of tanker and/or HGV
- Assist cleaning/maintenance teams
- Working with vactors/operating the boom
- Working in confined spaces
- Thorough completion of site/works information on a tablet device.
- Completing driver's hours books and vehicle checks (defect books).
- General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
- Working away may be required.
Other information
- Role is based outside most of the time when not driving to jobs.
- Uplift and disposal of liquid waste from Septic tanks, Wet wells, Grease traps, Retention tanks, Landfills, Surface water retention ponds
- Or it could be removing the build-up of silt, stones and rag from complex storage tanks.
- Both Maintenance and reactive work.
General hours are 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday and all other hours are time and a half and double time at the weekend.
