Multi-Trade Builder Contract Opportunity via BRC Jobs: Multi-Trade Builder Location: Somerset Sector: Property and Housing Contract: 5 Months+ Salary: £13.69 PAYE – 17.72 Umbrella Company Van Provided We are looking for an experienced a multi-trade who is experienced in carrying out various maintenance and repairs to properties in Somerset. You will be joining a dedicated and expanding team to support in manging services to tenanted and void properties. Main Responsibilities:

You will be working to a schedule and as part of a supportive team to carry out general repairs and maintenance to internals and externals of properties including resolving defects
Carrying out masonry/stonework repairs to walls, chimney stacks, general brickwork, patch plastering of walls and rooms
Assist in repairs and installation of concrete floor slabs, paths and paved areas
Conduct repairs to fencing or installation of new fencing
You will be responsible for the fitting of aids and adaptations for tenants with disabilities which would include handrails, ramps and railings
Carry out repairs to properties affected with damp and mould, such as Dryrod damp -proofing, tanking systems and chemical treatments
Undertake other trade repairs such as minor plumbing / carpentry repairs, tiling, and painting
Ensure all works are planned and managed in line with timelines and ensuring that follow up visits are avoided
Liaise with repairs and void supervisors, other trade teams, schedulers, planned team and external contractors

Job Requirements

Must have a driving licence
GCSE standard or equivalent

City & Guilds Maintenance Operations NVQ2
Health and safety Qualification
Experience in social housing
