- You will be working to a schedule and as part of a supportive team to carry out general repairs and maintenance to internals and externals of properties including resolving defects
- Carrying out masonry/stonework repairs to walls, chimney stacks, general brickwork, patch plastering of walls and rooms
- Assist in repairs and installation of concrete floor slabs, paths and paved areas
- Conduct repairs to fencing or installation of new fencing
- You will be responsible for the fitting of aids and adaptations for tenants with disabilities which would include handrails, ramps and railings
- Carry out repairs to properties affected with damp and mould, such as Dryrod damp -proofing, tanking systems and chemical treatments
- Undertake other trade repairs such as minor plumbing / carpentry repairs, tiling, and painting
- Ensure all works are planned and managed in line with timelines and ensuring that follow up visits are avoided
- Liaise with repairs and void supervisors, other trade teams, schedulers, planned team and external contractors
- Must have a driving licence
- GCSE standard or equivalent
- Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
- City & Guilds Maintenance Operations NVQ2
- Health and safety Qualification
- Experience in social housing
