We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Public Sector Business Development Team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and results-oriented sales professional with a proven track record in the public sector. You will be responsible for driving growth by delivering and exceeding sales targets through the value selling of our services, particularly within the NHS and local government organisations.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Achieve and exceed growth targets by actively prospecting and winning new business in the NHS/Public Sector.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by developing long-term trusted customer relationships.
  • Build and manage a robust 90-day pipeline.
  • Present quantified benefits to customers professionally.
  • Ensure accurate and complete CRM management.
  • Collaborate with fellow sales team members and other departments in a supportive manner.
  • Deliver personal objectives as agreed with the Regional Sales Manager – South.
  • Report on the status and performance of the business as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in selling into and exceeding sales targets within the Public Sector.
  • Strong consultative and solution-selling abilities.
  • Exceptional account development and management skills.
  • Proven track record in new business acquisition in the Public Sector.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ownership and proactive mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills with a logical approach.
  • Collaborative work ethic and belief in mutual benefit in relationships.
  • Ability to plan and execute successful account strategies.
  • Understanding of business data and its application in a sales environment.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet creation and analysis.
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience in document management, communications workflow, and/or SAAS environment.
  • Direct sales experience with the NHS.
