The primary purpose of this role is to undertake all aspects of fee-earning work with the required skills and knowledge. The successful candidate will contribute profitably to the department and firm, ensuring its development aligns with the business plan.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct matters on behalf of clients professionally, ensuring service quality to protect against complaints.- Comply with SRA and COLP/COFA Rules, and the firm's Policies and Procedures.- Manage files to CQS Standard, maintaining accurate file management and using case management systems effectively.- Utilise software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for various tasks.- Supervise fee-earning work and manage support services, including para-legal/secretary/assistant supervision.- Participate in marketing activities and contribute material for the firm's website.- Ensure financial control through effective cash-flow management and billing procedures.- Maintain clear and concise written communications, meeting all deadlines and responding promptly to calls.- Attend file reviews, department, and staff meetings, contributing to continuous improvement.- Stay updated with legal changes, engage in compliance training, and maintain professional standards and accreditations.- Adhere to the firm's Equality and Diversity Policy.This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for an experienced conveyancer ready to make a significant impact.
