CAD Designer - Near Taunton - Permanent - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum salary depending on experience.

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting a CAD Designer for our Interior Design and Manufacturing client in Wellington, Somerset.

Hours of work

40 hours per week

Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm

Fridays 7.00am to 1.00pm

The RoleYou will be working as a CAD designer in their small design team. You will need to have experience and qualifications within CAD design. Understanding the materials and the design and production process. With a working knowledge of Sketchup and 2d AutoCad.

  • Assisting the design team in the creation of 3d models from concept to CNC programming & manufacture, predominantly using Sketchup & 2D AutoCad.
  • Researching materials and other products.
  • Printing project documents, collating files and organising digital libraries.
  • Attend project meetings together with members of the design & workshop teams.
  • Oversee & liaise with workshop staff on project progress & detailing.
  • Communicate with client contacts in a professional manner.
