We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Finance Manager (ACCA/CIMA) to play a vital role in driving the financial heartbeat of the organisation.
Job Summary
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee all financial operations within the business, ensuring the financial foundation is as robust as the products we deliver.
You will manage everything from day-to-day transactional finance and cash management to the sign-off of annual accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop cost-effective strategies and implement cost control measures.
- Prepare financial models to support product development and investment decisions.
- Monitor inventory and working capital to optimise cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with industry financial regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead the budgeting process and regular forecasting updates, working closely with departmental heads.
- Support payroll and reporting efforts in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
- Work with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyse contracts, pricing models, and profitability metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, particularly in manufacturing, heavy plant, or engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and financial modelling.
- Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with a track record of enhancing financial performance.
- Proficient in financial software (Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- High integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
