Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on advanced machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain line efficiency and performance.
- Implement improvements to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and support engineering projects when required.
Successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be:
- A qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise.
- Experience working within an FMCG or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with advanced machinery.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
- A proactive approach to maintenance with a focus on continuous improvement.
