Class 1 Delivery Driver Location: Taunton Depot

**About Us**

We are a global engineering company, and we are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key player in the business, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects while representing our organisation in every interaction.

Our Taunton depot offers a range of perks, including stability, a pension scheme, stay-away bonuses, expenses, and overtime paid at time and a half, with a high and achievable On-Target Earnings (OTE).

The Role

Based at our HQ in Hampshire, you will report to the Transport Manager. You will work 10-hour shifts, starting between 6am and 4pm, with flexibility required outside of these times. You may also be required to stay overnight, with a fixed payment per stay away. This is a Monday to Friday position, with weekends off.

Main Purpose of the Role

Your primary responsibility is to work within the Transport department and ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders. You must also adhere to all driving compliance standards in a professional and safe manner.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect Conquip products in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure a customer-first approach is taken at all times.
  • Communicate with the office and customers to maintain or exceed on-time delivery.
  • Adhere to all legislation, including Tachograph and DSA driving standards.
  • Maintain a positive image of the Conquip brand to our customers.
  • Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all necessary requirements.
