About the Role:
Reed Tutors is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) tutor to provide personalised tuition for a Year 10 pupil in the TA21 area. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a pupil’s educational journey by delivering tailored support and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tuition to a Year 10 pupil with SEND.
- Develop and implement customised lesson plans that cater to the pupil’s individual needs.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage the pupil and enhance their learning experience.
- Monitor and report on the pupil’s progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have relevant qualifications and experience in teaching pupils with SEND.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Be able to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.
- Have the ability to tutor in English and Maths.
- Have a flexible approach to teaching and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
