Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant seeking an exciting transition from practice to industry? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious professional to join a dynamic team as a Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be mentored and supported to reach your full potential.

Based on a rural estate, nestled within acres of stunning natural beauty on the north Norfolk coast. The estate is known for its diverse visitor and leisure businesses, which generate a significant portion of its income. It boasts a rich heritage, innovative approach, and commitment to sustainability and conservation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and meaningful management information to aid decision-making in land and property development
  • Reporting to the Finance Director and collaborating with the General Manager and operational heads on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Develop annual operating budgets and five-year plans, aligning with the estate's long-term objectives
  • Ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulations, including procurement
  • Provide financial support and analysis for development projects, including detailed phased cash flows
  • Act as a 'critical friend' to challenge and ensure financial objectives are met

Requirements:

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken
  • Experience in business partnering, budget preparation, and financial analysis
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in using standard accounts packages and Excel
