We are seeking an experienced hair stylist with at least 3 years of experience on the salon floor to join the team at our busy Hair and Beauty salon in Wells.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about hairdressing, have excellent communication skills, be up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques.

As a member of the Frontlinestyle hair team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and showcase your creativity and skills in a supportive and collaborative environment of professional stylists and therapists.
Responsibilities:
- Create a wide variety of hairstyles, from classic to contemporary looks, for men, women, and children.
- Expert in color theory, advanced hair coloring techniques like balayage, ombré, color correction, highlights, and lowlights.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their preferences and hair care needs.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients through personalized services and trust.
- Recommend appropriate hair services and products to clients based on their hair type and desired look
- Keep work area clean and sanitized, including tools and equipment
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques through continuing education and training
- Manage and maintain client records, including their hair history and product preferences
- Be responsible for retailing the correct products to clients, increasing revenue for the salon and ensuring clients care at home.
- Contribute to the overall success of the salon by achieving personal and team goals
- Provide high-end customer service, ensuring clients leave satisfied with both their hairstyle and overall experience.
Requirements:
- Mastery in various hair cutting and coloring techniques.
- Creativity and artistic ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management and organizational skills.
- At least 3 years of experience as a hair stylist in a professional setting
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest hair trends and techniques
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
