Job Description :-
Excell Supply are seeking nursery practitioners, who can fit in with an energetic, fun and dedicated team. You will have a Level 2 qualification and relevant experience in a childcare setting and you will need to hold a valid Child Workforce DBS, or be willing to process one through Excell Supply.
Responsibilities:-
Protect and promote the health and well-being of children.
Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
Promote positive relationships in the early years setting.
Support childrens learning and development through play
Be a key person to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families.
Monitor childrens progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
Plan and create activities which keep children engaged throughout the day.
Enable children to become more independent.
Help prepare children for the transition into school life.
Requirements:-
Hold Teaching Assistant Level 2, qualification
Be an excellent and inspirational practitioner, with young children children's well-being at the forefront of all actions.
Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
Demonstrate transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness.
Right to work in the UK.
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Excell Supply if necessary).
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
