Quick Staff UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman from within the Construction & Civils industry to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a Full UK Driving Licence and a CSCS & SSSTS card. Extensive travel throughout the UK will be required, as we have sites throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure work is carried out according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Manage and supervise a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Train new employees on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.

Key Requirements:

  • Be an experienced groundworks Working Foreman.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to plan and manage site personnel.
  • Ensure labour, plant, and materials are successfully delivered to projects on time.
  • Meeting clients and subcontractors onsite to launch projects.
  • Submit daily reports as required by Management
  • HSE regulations - COSH/RAMS/PUWER/LOLER inspection sheets, ensure these are checked/completed daily.
  • Be happy to get stuck in and get your hands dirty!

On an average week, you will be expected to stay away from Monday to Thursday, however, the occasional weekend work may become available. Salary: £20.00per hour (paid direct by our client) or £25.00p/hr on a self-employed basis
