Warehouse Operative:
At Boccard, as we continue our journey of growth and expansion to serve the new era of nuclear energy, Boccard, as a leading specialist in engineering, manufacturing, construction and maintenance in the nuclear energy industry, we are looking for experienced warehouse operatives to join us.
We are recruiting for two experienced warehouse personnel for these new roles based at a warehouse facility at our suppliers site in Welshpool. Frequent travel will be required to our manufacturing facility in Broughton and also other supplier sites as required.
Working within the nuclear energy industry our priority is always working safely and to rigorous standards, therefore applicants must have a safety and quality mindset.
Job Details;
- Loading and unloading containers
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Cross checking stock
- Completing stock counts
- Palletising goods
- Picking stock
- Putting stock away in the correct locations
- FLT Operation
- Maintaining and promoting a safe, clean working environment
- Completing any required paperwork
Warehouse Operative Person Specification;
- Current driving licence
- FLT licence
- Previous experience working within a warehouse and of driving a Counterbalance forklift is essential
- IT literate
- Heavy lifting
- Good communication skills
- A good team player with the ability to multi task
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to travel to other sites, mainly Broughton and supplier sites
- Holds a CCNSG or similar H & S qualification
As part of our pre employment activities, the successful candidates will be required to complete a medical and pass BPSS security screening.
Working hours are Mon - Thursday 7:00-15:30, Friday 7:00 - 12:30
