Interim Financial Accountant - 12-Month FTCLocation: Welwyn Garden CitySalary: Up to £50,000 + benefitsOur client is seeking a skilled Interim Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Welwyn Garden City on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an impact within a global organisation.Key Responsibilities:As part of the finance team, your main focus will be managing and reconciling transactions across multiple legal entities within the EMEA region. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting month-end close processes, and preparing various reports.* Intercompany Transactions: Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of intercompany balances across EMEA.* Month-End Processes: Assist in the preparation of accruals, journal postings, and reconciliation of control accounts.* Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.* Financial Reporting: Contribute to statutory reporting and provide support for financial consolidation in line with IFRS.* Process Improvement: Drive improvements in accounting processes and maximise the efficiency of financial systems.Experience:* Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/AAT or equivalent)* Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting and financial controls.* Experience in working with large, multi-entity organisations.* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.* Highly organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.Package:* Salary up to £50,000.* A great range of benefits including excellent pension, healthcare, flexible working.* An opportunity to work with a global organisation in a highly flexible environment.* A chance to contribute to key financial processes and collaborate with colleagues across EMEA.Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
