Management Accountant + FP&A - International Organisation - Welwyn Garden City / Wembley* - up to £65k + bens

We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced, CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified Management Accountant with FP&A, to join an international organisation in their UK hub.

*This role will initially be based in Wembley, but will move to the Welwyn Garden City office where it will be based permanently.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing international organisation in a role with genuine long-term prospects.We’re looking for a proactive, detail-minded, focused and hands-on Management Accountant with a forward-thinking nature and the desire to improve efficiency and adopt a modern finance approach.

Ideal candidates will have experience gained in manufacturing, FMCG or engineering, with experience of stock and inventory accounts and a deep understanding of gross margins.

Key responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:

  • Preparation of management accounts for group of companies
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting and analysis
  • Collaborating in developing strategic business plans
  • Ensuring optimised cost accounting
  • Supporting the Head of Finance UK in ensuring profitability and value creation
  • Undertaking profitability analysis on product level, variance analysis, ad hoc analysis
  • Delivering recommendations for corrective actions
  • Ensuring accurate product calculations and inventory analysis
  • Preparing and monitoring annual budget and quarterly periodic forecasts
  • Running payroll for the Group

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in similar Management Accountant roles
  • Solid understanding and experience of FP&A
  • Experience of stock and inventory
  • Deep understanding of gross margins
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification
  • Experience gained in manufacturing, FMCG or engineering environment is highly desirable
  • Experience of Xero and Google Sheets is advantageous
  • IT literate with strong MS Excel (pivot table, lookup or macro level)
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Forward-thinking and progressive outlook
  • Hands-on approach to finance
  • Ability to work in offices in Wembley initially, with a move to Welwyn Garden City
