Contracts AdministratorAre you a strong administrator with great communication skills who has experience working within an office-based environment?

Based in Welwyn Garden City this company has had a period of unprecedented growth in both size and monetary turnover. They are now looking for a Contract Administrator to provide administration and communication support to the Contract Managers.

Contracts Administrator RoleThe Contracts Administrator is a very varied role, reporting to the Principal Contract Manager whilst providing administration support to the Contract Managers with current and new business management and development. Liaising with the administration, operations and finance teams to ensure efficient and accurate handling of the enquiry-to-order process enabling effective delivery and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for new enquiries and order processing using relevant software database systems (training given)
  • Responsible for proactive and timely communication with existing and new clients
  • Assisting the Contract Managers with quote generation
  • Assisting the Contract Managers with quotation process management
  • Assisting the Contract Managers with contract renewals and reviewing new order/renewal contract purchase orders
  • Responsible for checking quote status with clients.
  • Chasing contract and non-contract purchase orders.
  • Raising/tracking actions on Service Tracker.
  • Provide the Finance Team with appropriate information to enable accurate and timely purchase order and invoice generation.
  • Provide the Operations Team with relevant information to deliver an optimum service efficiently and accurately.
  • Other administration duties as required to aid service delivery, quality review and output, and financial matters.

Contracts Administrator Key Requirements:

  • We are looking for a confident and well organised individual who is happy and confident talking to clients on the telephone. So excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are key
  • Previous experience of working in an operations/contracts environment is an advantage but you will be given training
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
