Job Summary

The Service Delivery Manager is a pivotal role, which links our new Hertfordshire service with our existing Operational Hub. Your key relationship will be with the Operations Manager to strategically plan initiatives to meet the Company’s goals, manage the service and track results.

You will be required to work with the existing Management team as well as working closely with the broad spectrum of health and social care stakeholders across Hertfordshire’s localities.

You will also have responsibility for managingthe dedicatedHertfordshire team.

The role will be office based in Hertfordshire and will require travel to various clinic locations across the region. This role may also offer hybrid work opportunities.

Main duties of the job

  • Implement and roll out TBC Healthcare’s service delivery initiatives across Hertfordshire.

  • Have thorough understanding of TBC Healthcare’s weight management programme.

  • Strategically plan continuous service improvements and development based on service user and workforce feedback.

  • Act as a key point of contact for our stakeholders within the Hertfordshire community and understand the issues that may impact those living and working in the community.

  • Monitor key performance indicators in relation to all data requirements, and present to Operations Manager on monthly and weekly basis.

  • Monitor priority group engagement ensuring contractual targets are met.

  • Prepare and lead regular service meetings as well as implementing 121 support meetings

  • Work with HR toset personaland service objectives, undertake end of year reviews, motivate and encourage staff performance.

  • Manage the team’s day to day productivity and provide support and guidance.

  • Work closely with the Management and Clinical teams to understand service priorities to achieve operational excellence

  • Mitigating risks, service-related issues and report problems to the Operations Manager.

  • Undertake and complete all mandatory and additional skills training as required.

  • Be committed to active engagement safely manage clinical risk incidents. Adhere to the Safeguarding policy, protocol and the Incident policy, at all times.

Person Specification

You should be a strategic thinker with a passion for ensuring operational excellence.

You should have experience of managing contracts and services, preferably in healthcare.

You must have previous exposure to working with community stakeholders.

You will be passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and delivering motivational change.

As a manager you will have the ability to empower, inspire and motivate the Hertfordshire team

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience of managing services or contracts

  • Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders

  • Pro-active approach and ability to work on own initiative.

  • Experience of managing a team

  • Experience of motivating individuals

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with people.

  • Excellent administration, record keeping and data collection skills.

  • IT literate, preferably with experience using Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Knowledge of safeguarding issues and processes.

Skills & Knowledge

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Hertfordshire health and social care environment area and an understanding of the challenges or barriers to behaviour change within the Hertfordshire community.

Required

  • Must have a driver’s licence and the use of a personal car, as you will be required to travel to various locations.

  • Pre employment screening will be undertaken to include references and a DBS conducted by TBC Healthcare.
