Carpenter / Joiner

Salary: 34,000 - 36,000 per annum

We are looking to recruit qualified and experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join the responsive repairs team to work across council owned properties within Welwyn Garden City.

Responsibilities:

Undertaking all types of repairs and renewal works to occupied and void properties
Repairing or replacing skirting boards, floorboards, window frames, doors, door linings, staircases, fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, door handles and locks, cabinet handles, stairway railing, and more.
Using PDAs / mobiles to complete works, key communications, and updates.

Requirements:

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery OR CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
Basic Criminal Record Check
