Our magnificent 2 AA Rosette Auberge du Lac fine dining restaurant is situated in the idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, with stunning views of Brocket Hall and its two championship golf courses. The 2 AA Rosette restaurant offers superb British food, with an international selection of wines from our extensive cellar. There are also five private dining rooms created to reflect the mood of the occasion, where guests can enjoy their chosen menu. Our fine dining restaurant is a unique showcase for outstanding food and wine in a stunning location.

We are seeking to find a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our elite Auberge du Lac team

Chef de Partie :Job Purpose:

Under the guidance and supervision of the Head Chef, you will assist the Sous Chef in overseeing and directing all aspects of the kitchen operation.

Responsibilities will include:

Work with the Head Chef/ Sous Chef to provide seasonal menus

Prepare, cook and execute food to a high-quality set standard

Be responsible for own section, MEP, ordering, administration

Train and develop the kitchen team with the support from the Head Chef & Sous Chef

Follow recipes, health & safety and other guidelines set in place

Maintain the highest food hygiene level and safety standards

Be passionate about providing the best experience for our guests

Work well in an intimate team setting

Chef de Partie: Candidate Profile:

. A minimum of two years in a similar position, gained within a 2/3 rosette restaurant

. Hold a current Level 2 Food Safety in Catering Certificate

. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure

. Team player with exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
