Our client, a leading multinational retailer, is seeking a Supplier Engagement and Communications Manager to lead their communication and engagement strategy for the Good for Resale (GFR) AP Automation programme.

About the Role

As a Supplier Engagement and Communications Manager, you will lead the communication and engagement strategy for suppliers impacted by the Good for Resale (GFR) AP Automation programme. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including external media agencies, to develop a comprehensive supplier communication strategy. Additionally, you will establish and manage supplier working and test groups to trial new ways of working and gather feedback. Your goal is to ensure that all impacted suppliers are informed, supported, and aligned with the programme's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Communication Strategies:Create and implement comprehensive communication plans to keep suppliers informed and engaged with the GFR programme.
  • Build Supplier Relationships:Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, understanding their needs and providing ongoing support.
  • Manage Feedback Groups:Set up and oversee supplier working and test groups to trial new processes and gather valuable feedback.
  • Produce Video Briefings:Collaborate with media agencies to produce engaging video updates for suppliers.
  • Organise Training:Work with the training team to develop effective training materials, including webinars, guides, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitate Webinars:Plan and manage online meetings to update suppliers and address their questions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders:Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent and clear messaging.
  • Develop Programme Brand:Contribute to building a strong brand for the GFR programme in all supplier communications.
  • Execute Targeted Communication Plans:Tailor communication strategies to meet the unique needs of different supplier groups.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong Knowledge:In large transformation programmes and supplier or stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong Communication Skills:Ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Experience in Developing Communication Strategies:Working with media or marketing agencies.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Engagement:Organising webinars, video briefings, and virtual engagement activities.
  • Project Management:Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organisational and Problem-Solving Skills:Exceptional skills in these areas.
