We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our team. As a CNC Turner Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating Fanuc controlled lathes to produce high-quality precision components.
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC lathes according to job specifications and ensure proper calibration
- Operate CNC lathes to produce precision components within specified tolerances
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine operation or production quality
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
- Proficiency in setting and operating Fanuc controlled lathes
- Strong understanding of machining principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Day-to-day
- Setting up CNC lathes for specific jobs
- Operating CNC lathes to produce precision components
- Inspecting finished parts for quality assurance
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with machine operation
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
Rate and Hours
- Rate: Competitive, based on experience
- Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime as needed
