• Defining project management processes
• Liaise with department managers to establish project requirements
• Create project plan defining critical paths, milestones & KPIs
• Identify resources required for execution of project start to finish
• Schedule meetings with stakeholders for each project making sure projects remain on time and milestones are met
• Ensure project stakeholders are proactively involved
• Ensure personnel /stakeholders involved in projects are fully supported
• Identify any purchase requirements for each project, ensure relevant purchase requisitions and purchase orders are raised and approved
• Provide weekly status reports for each individual project
• Proactively drive projects through ensuring they have value added to the business
• Identify additional improvement projects across the business
• Contribute towards and drive ongoing development of the project management function
• Positively promote project management principles and their application
• Influence stakeholders and manage their concerns
• Developing ROI for all CAPEX projects

Person Specification

• Degree educated in a project management discipline or minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management
• Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project Software
• Managing projects across several disciplines within a business
• Managing projects from start to finish
• Scheduling and chairing project meetings with all relevant stakeholders

Desirable

• Knowledge of Aerospace Quality Management Systems
• Manufacturing engineering processes
