With over 6,000 stores internationally, my client is a well-known household name that offers several exciting opportunities.Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Business Analyst to join our team and support the decommissioning of a number of legacy learning platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in streamlining our learning ecosystem and ensuring a smooth transition to new systems.Responsibilities:* Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to understand current learning platform usage and identify critical data elements.* Analyse learning platform functionality and data structures to develop a comprehensive decommissioning plan.* Liaise with IT teams to map out the technical decommissioning process, including data migration, system shutdown, and hardware disposal.* Develop clear communication plans to inform users about the decommissioning process and timelines.* Analyse training and support needs for users transitioning to new learning platforms.* Document the decommissioning process for future reference and best practice development.* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the decommissioning project.* Track project progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure adherence to established timelines and budgets.Bonus Points:* Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).* Experience with data migration and system decommissioning projects.* Strong understanding of data and analytics.* Experience with digital transformations.* Ability to define strategies and execute them effectively.* Critical thinking and strong system analysis skills.Skills Required:* Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and system decommissioning.* Knowledge of learning management systems and digital transformations.* Excellent communication and stakeholder management.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Contract Details:* Duration: 3 months, with a possible extension depending on project needs and performance.* Location: Hybrid working model (3 days onsite in Welwyn Garden City).What We Offer:* Competitive contract rate.* Hybrid working arrangement.* Opportunities for career growth and further projects.Pontoon is an employment consultancy.
